Androids Vs. Wives

“Most androids I’ve known have more vitality and desire to live than my wife.” (94 Dick)  

Rick is degrading women in this passage. By saying this, Rick Deckard verbally manifests his hate toward Iran in that moment because he compares her to the closest thing there is to humans that he kills for a living. After saying that his wife has less desire to live than an android, Rick proceeds on to claim that his wife "has nothing to give him" (95 Dick). Rick is unsatisfied and has no joy from his wife's company and actions that he seeks fulfillment through the androids.
